Issa was standing in the doorway moping over Bobert, and after 15 minutes into our conversation, I was chasing her through the house yelling, "Tell me you know who Gene Wilder is!"

I remember when Issa & I had a sleepover in Olympia, just the two of us. I love my wife.

issa thinks the reason for lesbians is they both get excited about having people in bed with them, but boys always fall asleep eventually. she & i don't. we stay awake and stare at the boys.

Issa is holding Robert's hand. Well, not really his hand, but a picture she drew of it. Now she just punched it 'cause he's not here. She's gonna go find him in a castle, like a backwards Zelda. "Mm. I will." She's curled up at the end of my bed drawing right now.

I've been overwhelmingly depressed lately. Richard says it's post-election anxiety disorder. All I know is I can't stand being alone. Someone has to be within theoretical talking/hugging distance. I sleep at my parents' when Issa isn't home. Thank God she is tonight.

We went dancing, but not to the cussing angry songs. We're not goth enough.

Issa has been kicking Bobert, and then she rammed him repeatedly into a wall. I may have to separate them. I taught him how to swing dance tonight. They're so cute dancing together, and now they're drawing. I can't get over how sweet they are, and how she can't either.

"Andrea, are you living in a Jane Austen novel?"

"Maybe, why do you ask?"

"I just need to hear you say it. You're like the daughters."
(I chase her down & hug/tackle her)
"What do you mean? Which one?"
(laughing)
"All of them. Real people don't live the way you do."

"That's just what Michael says."

"Well, he's right."
